APRN Fellowship Program

A one-year structured advanced training program for nurse practitioners to increase confidence and enhance clinical skills


  • Master or doctoral degree in nursing conferred in the last 18 months
  • Licensure in South Carolina as an advanced practice registered nurse
  • Two years full-time nursing practice or equibalent experience providing direct opatient care within the past five years

Nurse Residency Program

A one-year structured training program for nurses pursuing a career in medical/surgical or critical care nursing at Lexington Medical Center.


  • ADN, diploma or bachelor of science degree in nursing. New graduate nurses who acquire their nursing education through an online program do not meet minimum qualifications
  • Licensure in South Carolina as a registered nurse
  • Critical care, medical/surgical, intermediate and emergency department units at LMC will not consider new graduate nurses without post-graduation experience except those who have successfully completed this program

Medical Laboratory Scientist Training

School of Medical Laboratory Science

A program for college graduates in the physical and biological science to prepare them for success as a members of a health care team.


  • Baccalaureate degree with the necessary course in physical and biological sciences
  • Overal GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 sclae and 2.8 in science courses
